So, Project reality... this barfstew mod was made by a company called Black Sand Studio. This company has a really cool logo and that's about as far as it goes. I learned quite a bit about this game today. I know there's a manual and I read a little bit. I also read some tips elsewhere on the internet on how to play. Which is a bit of a problem: I'm not reading a motherfucking book to play a motherfucking game. If the game is too complex to be able to pop in and do the basics, it's a shitty game. The game has some great concepts that weren't addressed and never will be in barfstew and I shall list a few now.

I'm glad to see they decided to force team play. You have to join a squad if you don't want to get kicked. What do we know about gamers? Correct, they don't care about anything but their own score. So you have a bunch of people in squads who don't give a fuck about anyone else. Great. Now ALL the squads are useless. Fuck yeah! Great plan! Force ME to play with the assholes.

Just downloaded this mod and so I am looking for other players I know to play with. I use xfire, so if you are interested in hooking up to play this shit, let me know. Check out the Xfire status page to get the my contact info. Tried TF2, but after a couple hours of play, my opinion is that it is nothing compared to BF2. Maybe if they got rid of the spawn time bullshit I might have thought more highly of the game, that and if it didn't use that steam bullshit. It is king of spam, he who spams most wins. Total shortbus FPS. 

After playing BF2 for so long, I have grown accustomed to the psuedo realistic gameplay. TF2 is a childs game, heh, where BF2 is a combat simulator. Don't mean to belittle it, just my opinion. I'll take slow paced skill based FPS over artsy cartoon spam fest anyday.

So back to the point I was trying to make. Download this game Project reality, and prepare for simulated combat at its finest. I won't argue that TF2 is the closest thing to Q2WF out there...but who the fuck cares, that shit is dead. Get some skill and join me for some real gaming. BF2 is the only true present day evolution of the class based FPS genre. Even ET:Quakewars was a dissapointment.
